Campus Life Event Management

The Event Management Department within the Office of Campus Life manages more than thirty unique event spaces on the Danforth Campus. These spaces range from our Premier Level spaces; Standard Level spaces and multiple outdoor spaces. In addition to these spaces, Event Management coordinates the reservation/booking of pooled classrooms throughout the Danforth Campus.

The Event Management team provides comprehensive event coordination services to students, staff, faculty and external clients in our spaces. These services include, but not limited to: Space reservation assistance (Reserve A Space); Liason to our campus partners and external vendors; Event consultation and guidance; Event layout design; and Comprehensive event management and logistics.

March 10, 2024 – March 16, 2024Spring Break

No Classes
March 17, 2024First date that RECURRING meetings/events may be requested for the Summer 2024 Semester.

First date that ONE-TIME event requests in standard level or premier level spaces may be made through the end of 2025 calendar year.
April 26, 2024Last Day of Spring Classes
April 28, 2024Last day for student groups to program for Spring Semester (any event type, including general body meetings)

Last day for pooled classroom use
for student groups or university departments. (Will reopen approximately 2 weeks after the start of the Summer Semester)
April 29, 2024 – May 8, 2024Reading Week / Exams

No student group programming (any event type, including general body meetings)

May 8, 2024 – May 20, 2024Commencement Restricted Dates

Approved commencement events only during this time.

May 20, 2024Student Group Programming may only take place in pooled classrooms or standard level spaces without WFF/ResLife Housekeeping Services.

Student programming is limited to events in which no spending/expenses are incurred during the summer.

No food or drink may be included in any student group programing type over the summer.
August 15, 2024Last Day of Summer Classes

Last day for student groups to program (any event type, including general body meetings)

Last day for pooled classroom use
for student groups or university departments. (Will reopen 2 weeks after the start of the semester)

Weddings & Receptions

Weddings are offered on Saturday or Sunday in the historic Graham Chapel.
